A word of warning, these are lovely plants, but only in the right place.
Hypericum’s spread by underground roots, so if you plant this near a path or patio – it can pop up inbetween the paving and it is hard to get rid of.
It is however, a plant that will grow well in tough dry shade – so that’s where you put it. In which case, you have a plant that fills the space, is evergreen, outperforms weeds and produces masses of artificial sunshine when it flowers!
